This event has already happened
a series of illustrated talks or ‘briefings’ mostly aimed at new graduates, or student-designers about to graduate, in any of the ‘new media’ disciplines (graphics, video, animation, interactives, etc). Unlike standard ‘professional practice preparation’ lectures, these briefings provide a kaleidoscope of perspectives from young practitioners and professionals on the diversity of opportunities in being a professional designer – as a sole-trader practitioner, as a partnership, cooperative, limited company, or in developing a personal business model or professional freelance practice. Its about how to go up the first step of the ladder into professional practice.
